What is “AfterBusBkup”?

“AfterBusBkup” is a destination for our digital lines when there is a phone malfunction. Our backdoor, lifeline, and all NightWatch lines are digital lines. Our three crisis lines are analog lines.

If you notice that many of the calls are ringing in to “AfterBusBkup” then this may indicate that there is a malfunction with the phone system. Alert you shift supervisor and call Binh.

There are a few calls to the Kristen Brooks Hope Center that might ring into “AfterBusBkup.” We do not have a relationship with the hope center, and it will be good to take the call as you would any other crisis call.

As a general rule, you can answer “Crisis Support Services.” Find out what the caller is looking for or who they are trying to reach. Respond accordingly.
