Earthquake Prepareness

I’ve attached under the sign-on sheet an earthquake preparedness guide. You can find it at 72hours.org.

In case there is an earthquake while you are on shift, the best thing to do is:
1)Get under something heavy, like you station’s desk, or flip over the couch.
2)When the shaking stops, look around to see if the building is still safe
3)There may be more trembles. Stay under your cover until the shaking has stop.
4)If the building seems unsafe to stay in, evacuate and meet in the parking lot of Sweet Adeline.

Next time you are on shift, make sure you are familiar with finding the nearest exit, the nearest flash light, and the emergency supply cabinet.
