A recent EB Express article on Laura’s Law has highlighted Alameda County as having the 2nd largest number of 5150s in California, next to LA County. Nancy mentioned that she is looking in to funding for CSS to help provide outreach to 5150 patients at John George Psychiatric Pavillion, in addition to Herrick Hospital. Devah reports that a high number (possibly 50%) of ER visits are from seniors. She mentioned that Senior Counseling might be able to get involved in this.
